Belle smiled at the Constable, "Good day kind sir. It is nice of you to come and check on us with all that has happened." She looked down towards Dan and Ash, pretending to smooth her skirt. Maybe they would pay for this eventually, they had been talking about finding Gareth and freeing the town from the spell, if that could be done...
"Some ruffians came into the inn causing trouble, those two," She said pointing to Sterling and Ral, " managed to chase them away. The others are still sleeping." She hoped she was as convincing as she thought she sounded. These strangers seemed like nice people and it was the other Drows which started the fight, or she thought they had.
The Constable looked up in shock, he had been hoping to make an arrest, the jail lacked prisoners, and it was rather dull there at the moment. "Are you sure that it was not these ones who caused the problems? They are strangers after all and I don't see anyone else."
Belle nodded, "Yes, some other Drow were here causing trouble, these ones helped rid us of them. Besides, I will have them clean up this mess anyway, since they did help make it." She raised a stern glance at Sterling and Ral, telling him that they would help since she helped them. "I shall not let them leave until everything is in order again, you can check up later to make sure they are behaving. I really do not think that they will be any more of a problem." She smiled brightly again, " Perhaps you should send a healer in, their wounds will need tending if they are going to be in any condition to help me."
