Ashleyien winced, "His eyes glowed red? That can't be good. Maybe it was just a trick of the light, or maybe he's leading us into a trap." she shivered at the idea, "Oh, I hope it's not a trap, we've had enough danger to last a lifetime." Somehow she knew that it was going to get a lot worse before it got better.
"Did anyone get some fire making equiptment, like matches or whatever they use here, it might be useful, who knows what we'll run into in there?" She said as she pointed to the dark forboding swamp which was not far beyond the town's gate. "Torches might be useful if it's as dark as Thoth makes it sound." She tried to brighten up a bit, "Maybe it's not as bad as we think." She said while the thought running through her mind told her that it was a lot worse than they thought, with creatures of terror more hideous than they could imagine.
