Flashes of the past shot through the Minstrel's mind like Hank's golden energy-arrows--the meeting with Rose Vallan, her fruitless attempt to awaken Terri with "Beautiful Dreamer", her and Cole's joint use of the Mind Gem, his battle with the Dream Demon while her mind was divided between Terri's nightmare and reality, his victory with Terri's help--the last thing she remembered was Terri opening her eyes, just before everything went black."Is she going to be all right?" someone asked.
"I feel like an anchor that's been dragged over a mountain," Iris moaned, struggling to open her eyes. "But that's why I was there, right?" *Great! You barely remember Nightmask, why did you remember that line of all things?*

((Sorry about vanishing like that. I haven't been able to get online for a few days. Everything everyone wrote that involves Iris stands. Just for the record, Iris couldn't communicate with Cole partly because her consciousness was split instead of forming a bridge and partly because the Dream Demon blocked her so he could take Cole on one-on-one.))
