I thought I'd given you guys some leeway by saying Iris didn't know how much time had passed between the start of the ball and the time you and Cassandra came up to the minstrels' gallery but implying it had been a while. Did I take things in the wrong direction?Everyone, whatever happens on the dance floor, Iris can't see or hear it unless it takes place during one of her solos or any other time she's in the spotlight (singing or playing lead, sharing a duet or other leading role with someone) and can't get down anyway--there's nothing close enough to swing on swashbuckler-style and she can't descend the staircase quickly. She'd have to use her own magic or someone else would have to get her down (Mind Gem-TK or whatever else you have). Essentially, that means anyone can choose to say if she's aware of what's going on or not by mentioning she's at the front of the gallery when she can see and be seen or she isn't.
If you're going to start a major fight Iris should join, please set it after my post, preferably after our matchmaking plans have had a chance to succeed or fail. She can't join the discussion with the queen, but would like to hear about it later. She'd also like to hear how the matchmaking went, especially since she's been trying to influence things on her own.
Zak, just how much are you willing to tell Iris or anyone about their weapon? And are you going to explain your neutrality to her if she asks for information? I suppose you could say that if you tell her anything about her lute, if Venger asks you later how much she knows you have to reveal what you told her.
