"Hey...wait up!" a voice from the woods called out to the folks who were pulled into the Realm. At that moment a robin flew to the gathering site, heralding the arrival of the Realm's latest entrant. The dozen or so men and women were still finalizing their decisions about who will go where as well as welcoming the other new arrivals when this latecomer came on to the scene. Clothed in a black bodysuit with dark blue boots, belt, cape, and wrappings on his arms from his wrists to his elbows, he looked almost like he was bit by a radioactive comic book. However, two of the gathered had a feeling that one like this may be coming along before they set out on the first adventure. "Okay guys..." he pauses to catch his breath, "...I know we should be starting out on a quest or something so I'll try to make this short." And so the latecomer begins recounting the tale of his arrival into the Realm:
"So I got spat out of a portal way over there (pointing back to wherever 'there' is) and the DM gave me this Mind Gem (which he pulls out of its pouch, and shows to the others) and told me I was a 'mentalist' but the only thing I've done so far (keeping quite about his 'incident' with a Know Tree) is talking to that robin. But from what I understand, I get some Telekinetic and a Telepathic powers from the gem, but I have to recharge it each time I want to do a different mental act. Oh and by the way my name is really Robert, but because we already know someone by that name could y'all can call me CoalTi-, I mean Cole, C-O-L-E. You know, just to stop any confusion between me and the other 'Robert.'Thanks. So..." looking around at his new homies "...what did I miss?"
