Kryschenn was getting desperate, dashing up and down through the various halls of the castle. She couldn't find Cassandra anywhere. Oh, please oh please oh please be all right and keep that necklace safe while you're at it! Where was she? She wasn't in her room, she certainly wasn't anywhere that it looked like Dungeon Master had led her. If that had been Dungeon Master...he had never quite seemed the type to so directly interfere, did he? How close did this world really mirror the one on Saturday mornings so many years ago?
Kryschenn wondered if she could possibly use the decoy stone to find Cassandra. It was from the Mystic's necklace, after all, the Weapon she had been given, right? But Krys had no idea how to go about using it as a homing beacon, or even if it was possible. Back to square one.
Maybe Cassandra slipped back into the ballroom and she just hadn't noticed. Turning on her heel, she hurried back towards the now half-hearted party.
