    Re: A badly-timed grand entrance

Zak winced...that line had been her least favorite out of the Zelda series, and to hear it coming from Link's mouth now was painful...

Great, and now everyone was laughing at her. In her day, anyone drawing steel in the presense of royalty would have been challenged and arrested, perhaps killed on the spot, just as someone waving a gun in the presense of the president would have ended up under a pile of SS men. She shrugged and looked distant, slipping from sight a moment later.

Perhaps she was a little paranoid....but with Venger looming over the city, tensions were bound to be running high and a joke might be mistaken...she just didn't want anyone getting hurt. As she wandered into the garden, she felt a hint of loneliness. Maybe she didn't really belong in this group. Her heart certainly wasn't into the matchmaking, and she was no fighter, and her knowledge seemed hopelessly outdated and useless. Retrieving her book and quill, she changed back into her sari, no longer in the mood for any sort of celebration, and returned to record the princess Diana's words.

She symapthized with Eric, for all the times he'd been on the receiving end of the ridicule. Only her wit wasn't nearly sharp enough for his witty comebacks...
