The elven mage looked like he wanted to throw-up, pass out, and just plain die. He cradled Cadbury in his arms. He looked around with unseeing eyes. For a moment, he focused on the here and now.
"Thank you. Thank all of you. I'm sorry... sorry I... failed."
He slid down the wall behind him and took some sobbing breaths. He began to shake with shock and sobbed into the warm bunny's fur.
