Presto looked frantically back and forth between the pit with the umber hulk and the tunnel full of gremlin things, some singed and quite angry from Zeo's attack. What could he do? His entire identity in the Realm was based on magic, and these things were totally immune to it. To make matters worse, they had dragged Kryschenn around the bend in the tunnel and he could no longer see her.
"I don't know *what* we're supposed to do!" he yelled back to Diana, trying to position himself between one of the gremlin-thingies and Varla and Teri. No way would he let them drag off another person. He watched as Eric discovered the things could walk right through the force field of his shield.
"Aieeeeeeeeeeeaaaaah!" Eric yelled, kicking the things away from him. His boot connected hard with a gremlin's stomach, and it flew through the air backwards to crash against a large boulder. Eric's attack seemed to have hurt it.
Presto paused for a moment. This was beginning to give him an idea...
